We used to have 3 foxes that would come to visit at the same time every night. They weren't bothered by us in the least. Two would come close and sit near us around the bonfire. Unfortunately, we haven't seen them now for a few years. The bear on the other hand was back visiting again this weekend. This time he was a few doors down. He's not very popular down there.

Another animal story...My daughter had been out with friends and returned to a dark cottage and dock. (we had shut off of lights) She tied up the boat but had a feeling she was being followed. She turned, but nothing was there. As she made her way up the stairs and onto the deck once again she turned and looked down. Here was our friendly fox, happily right by her side. Our daughter said the fox would of followed inside the cottage if she hadn't stuck out her leg and said no!! Unfortunately this little creature seems to have no fear of people... probably not a good thing.

Hi Paul, The bugs are defiantly out now. It has been fairly wet and even the cold doesn't seem to be discouraging them! I know there is a 'bug report' on the weather network website, not sure if this helps.

Also in addition to the previous email (please check it out) does anyone know the proper business name or contact info for the Mercury dealer G. Stahn in the little bay beside what used to be Admirals marina and E. O'rourke's. That is if he is even still there. I would appreciate any help with this or the previous email to this.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR READING AND ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE. All the Best!!

Does anyone know of someone who would be willing to rent us a boat from July 30 to August 2/3. We are looking for a well maintained bowrider or something a lot more comfortable and quicker than the aluminums we have rented in the past. I am a seasoned veteran of the waters in the Honey Harbour area and have decades of experience navigating the waters 100% successfully. I grew up as a child spending every summer at the family cottage that unfortunately was sold. We are trying to save some money from a place that I have already found but I will have to pay a lot plus a $125.00 r/trip delivery charge to the resort we will be staying at. We have been coming up yearly and staying at Hall's cottages and can provide a reference. Back when Go Vacations rented houseboats I rented one for a week and declined the insurance. At the end of the week they told me that I was the only one that brought the boat back with no damage to the prop etc. We are not rich and want to bring our child and grandchild up for our little-ones birthday.
PLEASE PLEASE help us someone

Hello Honey Harbour,
Well a couple questions....
Has anyone been up to Honeymoon Bay or surrounding area lately and if so how are the bugs so far?
Next I have numbers for CNC and HH Boat club as I am looking for a water taxi. Does anyone know of any other water taxi's just so I can compare prices and availability?
Thanks all!

We're up (west) from the rock cut a ways. There have been reports of bears in the immediate area for a nuber of years. My neighbor Dave (closer to the rock cut) spent most of last season chasing away a bear. I've been up here most of my life - this is the first time I've actually seen one with my own eyes. No sign of him this weekend though. Believe me ~ we were watching!
